Entry Requirements

A candidate shall:

(i) hold a VET Certificate IV or higher qualification in any field; or

(ii) have completed 4 units from an approved Diploma; or

(iii) have achieve the required minimum skills profile against the Australian Core Skills Framework; or

(b) hold an approved Diploma, including the required VET units for the chosen Major, from an Australian TAFE or Registered Training Organisation (RTO) under the Articulation Programs; or

(c) hold an approved Diploma and Advanced Diploma, including the required VET units for the chosen Major, from an Australian TAFE or Registered Training Organisation (RTO) under the Articulation Programs; or

(d) international students must hold a completed approved Diploma, including the required VET units for the chosen major, from a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) under the Articulation Programs.

Associate Degree

Literacy and Numeracy Requirements

Candidates undertaking the Secondary Mathematics specialisation are required to enrol on a non-award basis in the unit MTHS100 Introduction to Quantitative Skills and complete this unit within 12 months of commencing the Associate Degree in Teaching (Pacific Focus).

Candidates undertaking the Secondary Science specialisation are required to enrol on a non-award basis in the units MTHS100 Introduction to Quantitative Skills and CHEM100 Introductory Chemistry and complete these units within 12 months of commencing the Associate Degree in Teaching (Pacific Focus).
