University of New England (UNE) Courses

A candidate shall:

(a) hold an AQF Level 8 Graduate Certificate in Commerce from UNE; or

(b) hold an AQF Level 8 Graduate Diploma in Commerce from UNE.

A candidate shall:

(a) hold an AQF Level 7 Bachelor degree, or an AQF Level Bachelor degree and an AQF Level 8, 9 or 10 postgraduate qualification in a health related discipline* area from a recognised university in Australia or overseas, and not be currently registered to practice as a nurse in Australia; and

(b) at least one of the following criteria must be met:

(i) English is the applicant's first language; or

(ii) comply with the University's English Language Requirements for Admission and English Language Requirements higher than the University minimum requirement Annex for Courses in Nursing (Conferring Eligibility for Registered Nurse Status)

* Health related discipline area may include, but is not limited to: Social Work; Community Services; Paramedicine; Allied Health; Biomedical Science.

A candidate shall:

(a) hold an AQF Level 7 Bachelor qualification or above ; or

(b) hold an AQF Level 8 Graduate Certificate in Data and Cyber Management from UNE.

A candidate shall:

(a) hold the AQF Level 7 degree of Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent; or

(b) hold an AQF Level 8 Graduate Certificate in Nursing; or

(c) hold an AQF Level 8 Graduate Diploma in Nursing; or

(d) satisfy UNE by means of other relevant* professional experience by submitting a Statement of Service from your employer/s and a resume outlining a minimum of three years' full-time (or equivalent) relevant* professional experience and training undertaken in the past 10 years.

* Relevant discipline: Nursing

A candidate shall submit a Statement of Service for their work experience from their employer (on company letterhead) and a resume; and

(a) hold an AQF Level 5 Diploma in Financial Planning or Financial Services or an AQF Level 6 Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning or Financial Services from an Australian TAFE or Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and at least two years' full-time equivalent relevant experience in the financial services industry.

This course is not open to graduates of the UNE Bachelor of Commerce (commenced in 2018).

A candidate shall:

(a) be qualified for admission (see Admission Undergraduate and Postgraduate (Coursework) Rule and Admission Undergraduate and Postgraduate (Coursework) Procedures); or

(b) hold an approved qualification from an Australian TAFE or Registered Training Organisation under the Articulation Programs.

1. A candidate shall be qualified for admission (see Admission Undergraduate and Postgraduate (Coursework) Rule and Admission Undergraduate and Postgraduate (Coursework) Procedures) which includes:

(a) completed Australian senior secondary studies; or

(b) completed overseas secondary qualifications or tertiary qualifications deemed equivalent to Australian qualifications; or

(c) completed Australian post-secondary or tertiary qualifications; or

(d) completed an approved admission scheme or pathway; or

(e) satisfy the requirements of an approved interinstitution agreement; or

(f) obtained other equivalent qualifications and/or vocational experience; or

(g) satisfy the requirements for non-standard admission.

A candidate shall:

(a) hold an AQF Level 5 Diploma of Audiometry from TAFE ; or

(b) hold concurrent enrolment in the Diploma of Audiometry from TAFE.

A candidate shall:

(a) hold an AQF Level 7 Bachelor qualification in a non-relevant discipline; or

(b) hold an AQF Level 7 Bachelor qualification in a relevant discipline*.

*Relevant disciplines include, but are not limited to:

Botany

Ecology

Environmental Science

Geology

Zoology

A candidate shall:

(a) hold an AQF Level 7 Bachelor qualification or above; or

(b) provide a Statement/s of Service from their employer/s documenting seven years full-time work experience including at least three years relevant full-time work experience in a dedicated IT/supervisory/management/consulting role.*

*Relevant professional experience refer to a position of responsibility in any organisational or industry context.

A candidate shall:

(a) hold an AQF Level 7 Bachelor qualification or above; or

(b) have at least five years of relevant work experience*;

Applicants must submit a Statement of Service from their employer.

*Relevant work experience refers to a position of responsibility in any organisational or industry context.

A candidate must have:

(a) passed units to the value of 144 credit points in Years 1-3 of the Bachelor of Medicine - Joint Medical Program or 144 credit points from the Bachelor of Medical Science and Doctor of Medicine; and

(b) been granted leave of absence from the Bachelor of Medicine - Joint Medical Program or the Bachelor of Medical Science and Doctor of Medicine for the purpose of completing this course.
