A successful applicant for admission to the Graduate Certificate in Biostatistics will hold:

• a bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, science, psychology, medicine, pharmacy, economics, health sciences or other appropriate discipline from the University of Sydney or equivalent qualification.

Admission to the course requires:

• a medical degree from the University of Sydney or an equivalent qualification; and
• current medical registration in an Australian or New Zealand jurisdiction; and
• current employment as a medical practitioner in and Australian or New Zealand hospital.

Admission may also be subject to satisfactory interview with Program Director.

Admission to this course requires:

• a bachelor's degree; or
• relevant work experience.

Graduate Certificate students may apply to upgrade to the Diploma or Masters at the completion of their program (with a weighted average mark of at least 65).

To be eligible for admission, an applicant is required to have:

• an Australian bachelor's degree or equivalent in a cognate discipline

Admission to the course requires:

• a medical degree from the University of Sydney or an equivalent qualification; and
• a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons or equivalent; and
• acceptance into or completion of post-fellowship breast surgery training program or equivalent; or
• a minimum of 3 years' experience in breast surgery.

Admission to the Master of Science in Medicine (Advanced) (Trauma-Informed Psychotherapy) requires:

• successful completion of the requirements of the embedded Graduate Certificate in Science in Medicine or Graduate Diploma in Science in Medicine with a minimum credit average; or
• a bachelor degree with honours in a health or science-related discipline from the University of Sydney or an equivalent qualification; or
• a bachelor degree plus a postgraduate degree in a health or science-related discipline from the University of Sydney or an equivalent qualification; or
• a pass bachelor degree in a health or science-related discipline from the University of Sydney or an equivalent qualification.

The following are also required:

• minimum 12 months' experience in a clinical area related to mental health;
• current professional indemnity insurance to practise psychotherapy in NSW; and
• satisfactory performance at an interview as required.

To be eligible for admission, an applicant is required to have:

• an Australian Bachelor of Engineering degree with a 65 percent average, or equivalent qualification, in a related field of engineering to which the student is applying.

To be eligible for admission, an applicant is required to have:

• an Australian Bachelor of Engineering degree in the relevant discipline with a credit average (65 percent) or equivalent qualification, or
• an Australian Bachelor of Engineering degree in the relevant discipline or equivalent, and five years relevant professional work experience, or
• the relevant University of Sydney Graduate Diploma in Engineering or Graduate Certificate in Engineering with a credit average (65 percent).

To be eligible for admission, an applicant is required to have:

• an Australian Bachelor of Engineering degree with a 65 percent average, or equivalent qualification or
• an Australian bachelor's degree in a non-Engineering discipline with a 65 percent average, with studies equivalent to 48 credit points (equivalent to 1 year full time study load) in mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, geology, computing or statistics, as related to the stream sought for admission.

To be considered for admission, an applicant is required to have:

• Australian bachelor's degree or higher with a credit average (65 percent) or equivalent qualification, or
• Australian bachelor's degree or higher (minimum 50 percent required) or equivalent qualification, and satisfactory performance in the GMAT (for guidance, the class average score is 630), or
• University of Sydney Graduate Diploma in Professional Accounting and Business Performance with a credit average (65 percent).
