  All applicants are required to have an APAC-accredited 3-year Bachelor degree with a major in Psychology, with a Weighted Course Average (WAM) of 70 per cent or higher. Applicants with qualifications obtained overseas must provide evidence that their psychology qualification has been assessed by the Australian Psychological Society (APS) as equivalent to an APAC-accredited Level 1 qualification in psychology.
  Applicants must have at least a Credit average in second and third year units, as well as a Credit average in the majority of Psychology units. Performance in second and third year Psychology units may also be taken into consideration if numerous high-quality applications are received. Students should also have demonstrated aptitude for and commitment to research. As this course has a quota, the actual WAM required to be accepted will vary from year to year and is likely to be significantly higher than the minimum of 70.

Acceptance into the Honours program is by invitation only and successful applicants will transfer from the Bachelor of Science (Occupational Therapy).

  All applicants are required to attend an audition. In the audition, candidates must demonstrate competence in at least one dance style at a Diploma level.
  It is desirable that all applicants demonstrate dance expertise through extensive vocational experience, or in grades achieved in different dance styles through dance societies that run examinations linked to certification levels, and that they are turning at least 17 by 30 June in the year of commencing the course.

  All applicants are required to be a registered health professional i.e. Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Rehabilitation Nurse, Medical Practitioner, or be graduates from a nationally-professionally accredited program (e.g., Speech Pathologist, Dietitian, Exercise Physiologist). All applicants must maintain this registration/professional accreditation for the duration of this course, and have a minimum of one year full time (or equivalent) clinical experience in a relevant area of clinical practice and have worked with clients with neurological conditions undergoing rehabilitation.

Entry into this course is talent-based, and prospective students will be comprehensively assessed through an audition process which is held in November-December each year. Australia-wide auditions are conducted in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. Overseas students are assessed by auditions sent electronically.
  
  The audition includes a thorough assessment of inherent and trainable ability, the ability to meet the technical requirements of the course and suitability for the industry.
