Other Requirements Students enrolling in units that have a practical component must make allowance for on-campus attendance to complete the practical work. All Engineering Technology students will undertake at least 300 hours of approved work experience, plus complete a report outlining the experience gained, in order to complete the requirements of the degree. This work experience must be in a suitable engineering-related area and must be approved by the Engineering Academic Chair. This professional practicum as well as support materials and guidance is provided in the 0 credit point unit ENG100 Engineering Professional Practice. This unit should be enrolled in each year.

Other Requirements European Summer Program in Law and International Human Rights Program: The School of Law is offering a selection of specified elective units as part of its European Summer Program in Law, hosted at the University of Macerata, Italy, and its International Human Rights Program in Geneva, Switzerland. These programs will be run subject to sufficient enrolments. Enrolment in these programs is by application to the Program Director. Students are required to pay an application fee when submitting their application. Students enrolling in the program are responsible for their own airfares, accommodation, meals and incidental expenses during the program. Students are also required to pay a fee for course materials and access to the library, Internet and other facilities at the host location. If you achieve an ATAR of 60.00 - 89.95, a Murdoch RISE adjustment factor of up to 10.00 points may help you get into your preferred course. Murdoch RISE can increase your selection rank up to a maximum of 90.00.

There's no application or need to register. If you are eligible, the adjustment factor is automatically added to your raw ATAR score when you apply.
