Our world is characterised by the ever-increasing number of digital systems and intelligent sensors which have inbuilt or 'embedded' computers. Embedded systems are computers with specialised input/output devices that may or may not be programmed by the end user.
Students will conduct an independent research project in the discipline(s) of environmental and marine science under the guidance of an academic supervisor, resulting in the preparation, submission, presentation and defense of a dissertation.
