Allied health assistants work under the supervision of allied health professionals (such as occupational therapists, physiotherapists, dietitians and podiatrists) to implement programs, group activities and one-on-one supports for people with disabilities and health conditions. They also support the day-to-day running of the practice, managing aspects such as bookings and equipment.
