The degree provides a comprehensive understanding of how medicines are developed and how medications affect the human body.
It also integrates the PBA's intern training program and supervised practice requirements as well as an advanced master's program. See 'Accreditation' section for more info.
Secondary or tertiary qualification

This course is accredited by the Australian Pharmacy Council and is approved by the Pharmacy Board of Australia (PBA).
We have integrated the PBA's intern training program and supervised practice requirements into the degree so that you won't need to undertake further supervised practice after you graduate in order to practise pharmacy.
However, you will still need to pass the PBA's registration exam and meet the PBA's registration standards to be eligible for general registration.
