About this course

Overview
  • Make the great outdoors your new office and learn to protect our wildlife with hands-on courses in Wildlife Management.
  • UniSQ's Diploma of Science (Wildlife Management) introduces you to the fundamental concepts of biosecurity, conservation, animal welfare, vertebrate pests, and survey techniques to collect, record, and analyse field data.
  • Develop practical field skills with specialised training, including animal identification, handling and trapping; safety and bush survival skills; training in 4 wheel driving; camera trapping; and more.
Further study

The Diploma is a qualification in its own right, and you can stop there if you want to, but it is also a pathway to the Bachelor of Science (Wildlife Management). This means that the eight science courses from your diploma can count towards a bachelor degree.
