Professional accreditation

The Bachelor of Information Technology is accredited at professional level by the Australian Computer Society and, through the Seoul Accord, is recognised in other countries. The Seoul Accord is a multi-lateral agreement that allows ACS accreditation to be recognised globally. This means when you graduate, your degree will be recognised by other countries who are members of the Accord.

Finance major in Bachelor of Business will meet the educational entrance requirements to become a member of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA).

UniSQ is seeking accreditation for the Human Resource Management major by the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI). Upon accreditation approval, this major will satisfy the educational requirements for professional membership of AHRI.

  • As a graduate with this double degree, your career opportunities are extensive and vary depending on your chosen majors. You will be optimally placed for a wide range of careers in business and IT, including business information systems developer, business applications designer, business analyst, enterprise architect, intelligence officer, information systems developer, ICT project manager, database administrator, network security engineer, app developer, or database designer.
  • Some of the biggest employers of ICT graduates in Australia are international IT vendors, including Microsoft and IBM, and ICT end-users such as banks, insurance companies, and government departments.
