  • Completion of an Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent) in Arts or a related discipline, with a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 5.0.
English language requirements

You are required to satisfy the applicable English language requirements and this degree requires a minimum of IELTS 6.0 or equivalent. If you do not meet the English language requirements you may apply to study a University-approved English language program.

Recognition of prior learning or work experience

You may be eligible for recognition of prior learning if you have previously studied or have relevant work experience. This will help to reduce the number of courses that you need to study to finish your program.

  • Past UniSQ graduates from the International Relations Honours program have successfully gained places in the highly competitive graduate positions in the Australian public service, and positioned themselves for higher research degrees.
  • Individual UniSQ International Relations Honours graduates have gained positions as international relations advisers in federal government departments; as signals and intelligence analysts; teaching English as a second language in Asia; as researchers and university lecturers; and as the authors of books on international relations.
