This course is designed to provide those new to the triage role and those wanting to refresh, with an understanding of the guidelines and recommendations for the triage of patients in the emergency department. The course will involve discussion of key concepts and factors involved in triage and utilises problem based learning to develop skills in the application of the Australasian Triage Scale (ATS) to over 200 scenarios (155 self-directed).
