About this course

The Psychosocial Recovery Coach live online short course prepares mental health practitioners to assist those with a psychosocial disability.   In response to the new NDIS Funded Line Item for funded provision of a Psychosocial Recovery Coach, Swinburne is offering this short course to current, or soon-to-be qualified, mental health or peer practitioners.   Psychosocial Recovery Coaches work collaboratively with people with a psychosocial disability, and their families and carers, assisting them to better manage the complex challenges of day-to-day living.   This course will use a peer coaching model throughout, where you will be practicing and reflecting on stages of the coaching journey with other course participants. Course facilitators will actively be a part of this process, as well as delivering the course content components. short course, NC-PSYREC, Mental Health, Psychosocial Recovery, Coaching, online
