About this course

A Diploma of Business (BSB50120) will develop your management skills and prepare you to become a valued business professional. You will learn how to manage projects and financial plans, develop critical thinking in others and manage the personal and professional development of yourself and others.

This diploma requires that you first complete 3 units in Introductory Business Skills to develop your foundational skills and knowledge. With the Introductory Skills Course complete, you can choose to exit and receive a Statement of Attainment. If you decide to continue and undertake a further 9 units, you will graduate with a diploma.

Please note: If you complete the Course in Introductory Skills within 6 months, you gain automatic entry into the diploma. You will have 2 years from enrolment to complete the remaining units of the diploma. You are required to be self-directed in your learning and complete your coursework at a reasonable progression, so you can earn your qualification within this timeframe.

Entry requirements

  • Hold a Year 12 Certificate of Completion

OR

  • Completion of a Cert IV or above in any field

OR

  • Can demonstrate relevant work experience and meet the language, literacy and numeracy requirements to study at the diploma level.
