About this course

Supporting students with diverse needs is a priority for both Monash University, Faculty of Education and also the Department of Education and Training in Victoria. The Department are in the process of developing programs and practices for in-service teachers to equip them to be better able to cater for the highly able students in their classroom, including students with dual exceptionalities.

This one-day professional development program will equip educators with the theoretical and practical skills to support students of high ability and dual exceptionalities in schools. Identification, best practice approaches to programming for within the classroom and school-based enrichment activities, will be covered.
