In modern, complex communities schools play an important role in shaping social responses to a variety of 'wicked problems' that transcend institutions and influence our communities.

In this course you will explore a variety of 'wicked problems' through a social justice lens with the goal of making a difference. You will deepen your understanding of social justice theories, frameworks and practices of leading that can support your work in schools to make a difference in your communities. This will include exploring the ways that educational settings acknowledge or confront issues of diversity and difference, and as a leader you can shape transformative responses.
