About this course

This short course covers the different types of crisis situations in a community environment. The short course will combine presentations and reflective practice exercises from T&I professionals and industry experts, exploring topics such as interpreting skills and techniques, occupational health and safety, vicarious trauma and self-care.

This professional development short course is run with the support of the Department of Premier and Cabinet, State Government of Victoria.

Students may also apply for a bursary which allows for a heavily discounted enrolment fee in cases of financial hardship. Bursary applicants must satisfy the criteria to be considered. The cut-off date for bursary applications is 7 days before the course start date.
