Learn the Tools of the Trade
This parts interpreting course places a strong emphasis on understanding automotive components, accessing information, managing databases and customer relations. This course prepares you for performing general sales functions in an automotive retail, service or repair business.
If you are enrolling in this course as part of an apprenticeship, you must have employment in the relevant industry before commencing the course. You must be registered with an Australian Apprenticeship Support Network and have a signed training contract.
If you are enrolling in this course as a Non Apprentice you must have employment in the relevant industry before commencing the course or have extensive experience in the industry. Pre Enrolment Interview required.
Block Release Available. You will attend Campus for one week up to 5 weeks per year. Mon-Wed. Your Apprentice Training Advisor will discuss this with you.
For non Apprentices - your schedule will be customised based on your experience.
Entry Requirements
Can I Apply?
Satisfactory literacy and numeracy skills. You must be at least 15 years old at the time of application. This qualification is suitable for an Australian apprenticeship pathway.

How Will I Be Selected?
Non-apprentices will be offered a position based on their past experience and ability to source additional skills practice.
How Do I Apply?
Apprentice/Trainees - You will need to have an employer in this industry who is willing to sign you up as an Apprentice. Then contact an Australian Apprentice Support Network office to sign a training contract.
