Give your hairdressing career a head start!
The Certificate II in Salon Assistant course provides the basic knowledge and skills required to work in a hairdressing or beauty salon. Our students gain genuine hands-on experience working with real clients in our on-campus training salon.
You will learn how to interact with customers professionally and gain a broad overview of the hair and beauty industry with a strong focus on communicating in the workplace and providing assistance to senior colleagues.
Students will develop their skills through the high quality training resources and highly experienced, industry current educators.
Our course delivery features a combination of on-campus and remote (online) learning. This flexibility allows our students to continue to study in a safe, guided and supported manner.

There are no prerequisites for this course. Applicants will be required to undertake a language, literacy and numeracy assessment.
