This intensive beginner's course is designed to help you make rapid progress in learning Japanese. No prior knowledge of the language is required.
The focus is on equipping you to be able to communicate in everyday situations and to read, write and speak about familiar topics. You'll learn how to use a range of expressions and phrases to initiate and respond to short, routine social interactions.
This course is available full-time over 19 weeks or part-time over a year.
Knowledge of Japanese will give you an edge in careers in the tourism and hospitality industries. Being able to communicate with Japanese visitors in their own language adds value and makes interactions flow more smoothly. Language skills are also a distinct advantage in the fields of international education or business, when dealing with Japanese students or businesspeople.
